Montreal cops have seized at least 100 stolen vehicles in a major operation near the Port of Montreal. Luxury vehicles and SUVs, including Toyota RAV-4s and Jeep Wranglers, were recovered. Most of the vehicles originated from Ontario and were destined for overseas markets.
In April, 53 stolen vehicles worth $2.6m were seized at the port. Weeks before that, 17 vehicles were found there.
Cops say 11,137 vehicles have been stolen in the Montreal area this year, compared to 9,000 in 2022. See ----->$10m in stolen cars recovered in latest GTA bust |
