Wayne Kendall Jr. of Trois-Rivières, was sentenced to 18 months. From 2015 to 2018, Kendall Jr. stole more than $377k by submitting false claims for tax credits and benefits. He impersonated 18 people in order to claim cash for 61 fictitious children. He deposited cash in bank accounts he opened using fake ID. Kendall Jr. was employed by the CRA when he obtained identities, but he didn't work there when he carried out his fraud. |
